Local photographer Roberta Bryant lives in the North end of Mason Valley. On Friday June 18th, after a long hot day, the wind kicked up in the valley creating a red dustbowl sunset.

The cool air continued to mix with the hot as it carried in moisture- laden clouds.

Then a rainbow emerged pointing direction to the golden earth.

And a kaleidoscope painted the earth and sky…
