My father-in-law will be having a Custom Guitar Sale Saturday, July 25, from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM on Littell Street in Yerington.
If you’re in town for Night in the Country, stop by and check out his beautiful handcrafted guitars.
We’ll also have hot dogs, chips, and cold drinks! I’d love to see our community come out and support a talented local craftsman.

The countdown is on for the Yerington/Mason Valley Volunteer Fire Department Demo Derby at the Lyon County Fairgrounds on August 15th, and we’re looking for MORE CARS and MORE DRIVERS!
If you’ve been thinking about building a car, now is the time to get started. Gather your friends, fire up the welder, and join us for one of the most exciting events of the fair!
Nothing beats the roar of the engines, the crunch of metal, and a packed crowd cheering you on. Whether you’re a seasoned driver or looking to enter your first derby, we’d love to see you in the arena.

—This is going to be a fun filled morning learning how to build your own Kingman Turquoise piece, while sipping on Lavender Lemonade with a view. The photos shared of the stones are from her last class, so those are not the exact ones, but it gives you an idea what you will be creating.
Bring your creativity, and leave the rest to us!
