June 2025 in Lyon County, Nevada – Rural Nevada Counseling is proud to announce the recipients of its first annual scholarship, awarded to five local high schools: Yerington, Dayton, Silver Stage, Fernley, and Smith Valley. With a strong passion for supporting our community—especially its youth—RNC is committed to investing in the future of students in the rurals of Northern Nevada.
Each year moving forward, RNC will award five deserving students with a $2,000 scholarship to be used at any college or trade school of their choice.
We are excited to recognize the following students as our inaugural scholarship recipients:
