Smith Valley Volunteer Fire & Rescue Awards 3 Scholarships in 2025

June 2025 – Smith Valley Fire Protection District – NV: This years Smith Valley Volunteer Fire and Rescue scholarships were awarded to Aubree Doll, Cole Balda and Ruby Dechambeau.

Each of the recipients were interviewed by a panel of community members and representatives of SVFPD. The criteria for the scholarship requires the applicants to continue their education in the medical field.

The money is raised from raffles held each year at the annual Smith Valley Volunteer Firefighters’ Annual Steak Fry and Dance. Congratulations and best wishes with your future in the medical field.
