Colorful ~ Uplifting ~ Joyful ~ Cultural ~ Wonderful ~ Bold ~ Creative: These are just a sample of words used to describe local artist Mary Kropelnicki’s latest work contracted by the Yerington Rotary Club. This mural is located at the Lyon County Fairgrounds in Yerington, Nevada.
The colorful Hispanic Culture-Themed mural is painted on corrugated metal siding that is a difficult medium to work with. The results are breathtaking. Mary spent countless hours designing and painting this work of art.
Currently the mural is behind locked gates, but can be seen from afar or during Fairground events.
