Yerington Animal Protection Society YAPS MISSION STATEMENT:
Our purpose is to help our communities (Mason Valley and Smith Valley) by providing assistance in the funding of sterilization, immunization, and in maintaining the general health and well being of companion animals. Our goal is also to educate the local population in the areas of raising healthy pets and maintaining their welfare for a successful human/animal bond. Our Society will also aid and encourage the placement of abandoned and surrendered animals at our local shelter.
