Summer is in full swing at our clubhouses and we couldn’t be more excited about all the learning and fun that’s happening. Hundreds of kids are coming through our doors every day, far surpassing membership numbers from one year ago. Our Brain Gain program is working hard to reduce brain drain after the school year and our field trips have been outstanding. From Reno Ace’s games to local trips to the Walker River State Recreation Area, and of course, some fun at Wild Island, our kids are learning and staying active.
Please note, all clubhouses will be closed for the 4th of July holiday as we take time to celebrate our great country. Each of our communities has local events planned, and we encourage families to get out, enjoy, and take part in the hometown spirit we all love.
Finally, we’re just a few weeks out from Night in the Country, July 24-26. We’re excited to see so many long-time attendees and new visitors make their way to The Grange and enjoy some outstanding music, games and activities for all interests, all of which supports Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley. Reminder that all clubhouses will be closed during the week of July 21 as our staff prepares the event.
Let’s continue to make this summer one for the memory books and thank you to all the youth and parents for such an outstanding start to summer!
