09/10/2023 : Central Lyon County Fire Responds to Power Pole Plant Fire in Silver Springs

“Over the weekend A-shift crews battled a massive commercial fire involving several tanks of diesel fuel and heavy timber. Crews worked hard on the fire for 16 hours. No injuries were reported. A big thanks to Story County Fire for bringing us your foam trailer!”
