Valerie Salet-Breckenridge passed away unexpectedly at her home in Yerington, Nevada on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. She was 77.
Val was born in San Francisco, California on August 29, 1947, the daughter of Valentine and Norma (Richardson) Salet.
Val worked thirty plus years as a Computer Program Specialist at Bently in Gardnerville. She enjoyed Bowling on the ‘Tuesday Ladies Night Out’ and she was involved with the ‘Through a Child’s Eyes Foundation’. She enjoyed the get-togethers with her friends at the Wagon Wheel in Yerington.
Val is survived by her step-son, Tyson Breckenridge, her step-daughters, Pamela Frontino and Penne Klotz; her close friends, DJ and Kayla Marshe and their son, Chad; by her sister, Carol Salet-Tripp and brother, Tom Salet. Also by her beloved cats, Simba and Lucy. And by her many other numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Mike who passed in 2023.
A Celebration of her Life will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, February 15th at the Wagon Wheel Saloon, 16 Hwy 208 Yerington. A Potluck is planned so if you would like to bring a dish it would be welcomed. Family and friends are invited to sign her online guest book at www.FRFH.net
