DAYTON, NEV. – Following a successful 2024 festival at The Grange, Night in the Country is headed to the golf course for this year’s Music & Mulligans golf tournament presented by Northern Nevada Toyota Dealers.
This year’s tournament, bringing a fun country twist to the Dayton Valley Golf Club, is set for September 28. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start for the scramble tournament at 10 a.m. Foursomes are available at nightinthecountry.org and all proceeds benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley’s Dayton clubhouse. Entry fees, including lunch and dinner, begin at $600 per team and hole and contest sponsorships are still available.
Night in the Country is again pulling out some trick shots for this year’s tournament. Golfers can expect fun challenges and contests with awesome prizes and plenty of surprises and twists during their 18 holes. The night is capped off with a full banquet dinner and live music from local musician Carson Chandler. Chandler is fresh off his performance at Night in the Country, playing for thousands of festivalgoers on Thursday night at this year’s festival.
The tournament also brings a unique approach to prizes for its winners. Six amazing packages will be put together, with the first-place team getting the first pick, second place getting the second pick, and so on. Contests include the return of the $5,000 hole-in-one challenge and a putting green full of winnable product from New West Distributing and Breakthru Beverage. Other sponsors for this year’s festival include Sutro Self Storage, GolfNV and Lakeview Electric.
“This is our third year doing this tournament, and every year is more fun than the last,” Travis Crowder, the Club’s chief executive officer, said. “It truly is a great time for a great cause, and we can’t wait to see everyone again.”
Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley’s Dayton Clubhouse serves more than 600 kids and teens annually and 180 members every day. To expand its services and meet the community’s needs, the Club will soon break ground on a new early learning center located near its current clubhouse.
Night in the Country is Nevada’s largest and longest-running country music festival. Passes and campsites for 2025, headlined by Koe Wetzel and Cole Swindell, are for sale now at nightinthecountry.org.
