On Thursday, June 16, 2024 the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association NIAA conducted its 30th Hall of Fame Induction ceremony in Reno, Nevada. The NIAA Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Nevada high school athletics.
John K. Dibble who has been a Mason Valley resident for decades was chosen for his extensive roles as a Coach (football, cross country, wrestling, track & field), Athletic Administrator and Contributor with Yerington High School, Rite of Passage and Nevada Athletic Directors Association.
Jonas Prida grew up in Yerington, Nevada and graduated from YHS in 1990. Jonas was inducted into the NIAA Hall of Fame 2024 for his outstanding prowess as an athlete in basketball.
