The victim, identified as Vincent Eugene Small, “succumbed to his injuries and was subsequently pronounced deceased upon Deputies arrival.”

“Information gathered during the preliminary investigation revealed this incident stemmed from a family disturbance…”

Edward Doyle Small as identified as the suspect. , Edward Doyle Small was, “transported to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Jail where he remains in custody having been charged with First Degree Murder with the use of a Deadly Weapon.”
