Lyon & Storey Counties NV – July 3, 2026
CLUB NEWSLETTER July 2026 ![]() We’re swinging into summer with packed clubhouses full of smiles and excitement! July is bringing plenty of energy with summer programming, exciting field trips, and lots of fun as members make the most of their break from school. From preparing for Night in the Country to making unforgettable memories together, this season continues to highlight the impact and importance of the Club. Thank you to all of our members and families for being part of the community that makes it all possible. If you haven’t yet, it’s not too late to register your child for a summer of fun and growth by signing up on our site or stopping by your local clubhouse. Early Learning Milestones ![]() |
| Our youngest learners reached an exciting milestone this season as they celebrated preschool graduation! With joyful celebrations (and a few proud tears) in both Dayton and Yerington for our Early Learning Center graduates, it’s been a meaningful time for staff and families alike. We are incredibly proud of the growth, confidence, and curiosity our youngest members have shown throughout the year. These early learning experiences build the foundation for lifelong success, and we can’t wait to see what comes next for these bright young learners. Staying Sharp During Summer with STEM This summer, our STEM program is sparking curiosity and creativity across our clubhouses. From building structures and testing designs to exploring experiments, members are staying engaged in fun, meaningful learning experiences at the Club. Programs like these help keep members minds active during the summer months while building problem-solving skills, confidence, and a love of discovery. Thank you to all the individuals and businesses who are helping support this program! The Latest from Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley! |
Night in the Country continues to be one of the most impactful traditions supporting our Club, bringing together music, community, and generosity for an unforgettable weekend. Each year, Night in the Country helps fund the programs, services, and opportunities that support our youth across Lyon and Mineral Counties. We are incredibly grateful to the sponsors, volunteers, artists, and attendees who make this event possible year after year. Passes for this year’s event are on sale now so don’t wait and be sure to enjoy this landmark event at The Grange in Yerington! Our July Member of the Month is Edwin who always enters the Club with a positive attitude and is always willing to lend a helping hand. He is respectful, participates in every activity, and leads by example. Edwin is an awesome participant who brings great energy to everything we do, whether it’s Club activities, games, projects, or field trips. He is always eager to join in, try new things, and encourage those around him. Edwin attends the Club daily, is always surrounded by friends, and brings a smile wherever he goes. We are so lucky to have him as part of our Club family. Congratulations, Edwin! Get ready for one of our newest and most exciting fundraisers, Casino Bingo Night! Join us for an adults-only evening of fun at the Yerington Clubhouse featuring 10 rounds of bingo with cash prizes that grow throughout the night, plus lottery drawings between every round for even more chances to win. With a no-host bar, food truck, prizes, and plenty of energy, this 21+ event promises a great night out while supporting the programs of Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley. Tickets are available now, and every dollar raised helps us continue serving local kids and teens. A reminder that all clubhouses will be closed on July 3 as we prepare for and celebrate the 250th birthday of our country. Additionally, all clubhouses will be closed July 20-24 for Night in the Country. We hope to see you at a community 4th of July event and at the festival! |
