Yerington’s success was spearheaded by the efforts of Brent Brinkley, who shot 71% from the field to rack up 14 points, and Nolan Landa, who posted seven points and five steals. Brinkley continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he’s played. Rowdy Smith was another key player, putting up five points and five rebounds.
Yerington smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they’ve now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive games.
