On 9/17/2025 Local Paiute Tribal Member Christa Dunnett reported: “Pinenut Festival preparation…Here is our core crew. Trying to get all the pinenuts done so we can cook them up so they will be ready for the blessings on Saturday.”
The 94th Annual Pinenut Festival begins tomorrow, September 18, 2025, in Schurz, Nevada, and continued through Sunday, September 21st.
