Heather holds a B.A. in Human Resources with a minor in Sociology and is certified in Crisis Intervention Training (CIT). With over 21 years of experience in public service across rural Nevada, Heather brings deep commitment and compassion to her work and community.
In December 2024, she joined the Rural Nevada Counseling team with a mission to expand her knowledge and contribute to the important service of the Certified Community Behavioral Health Center. Her passion lies in supporting individuals on their journeys to recovery and mental wellness.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys gardening, crafting organic healing salves and balms, exploring the performing arts (lots of music and movies), and traveling. She has goals of becoming a certified herbalist, hopes to travel abroad, and strives every day to live with a peaceful heart and mind.
