University of Nevada, Reno Extension is hosting RADON AWARENESS at the Yerington Library Meeting Room (20 Nevin Way) on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 6pm to 7pm.
What to Expect: January is National Radon Action Month – A time to raise awareness about radon, an invisible and odorless gas that is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States. Across Nevada, families are encouraged to test their homes and take action to reduce exposure.
Learn how you can avoid the dangers of radon in this one hour class session with Nevada Radon Education Program Manager, Chris Kelly at the Yerington Public Library.
