The Smith and Mason Valley Chapter of RPEN met for an early and crisp 8:30am meeting last Tuesday (11/28/2023) with 20 members in attendance. Chapter President Rita Evasovic conducted the meeting which began with individual introductions and the Pledge of Allegiance. Chapter Secretary Nancy Pursel read the minutes from the October meeting. Chapter Treasurer Karen Dini gave a current financial report.
RPEN Statement of Purpose & Mission: As a non-union, tax exempt (501(c)4) membership association RPEN advocates, educates, supports and protects active and retired Nevada public employees regarding the Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS), the Public Employees’ Benefits Program (PEBP), health insurance programs and other benefits.
On Tuesday, December 12th, 2023 at 11am-1pm an RPEN Christmas Potluck Lunch will be held at the Yerington Lions Clubhouse. Everyone is encouraged to bring a potluck dish and a wrapped or unwrapped Christmas gift for a gift exchange.
