Donald “Donnie” Quintero & Grandson Stryder, 2, Lose Their Lives in Tragic Housefire

Schurz, Nevada ~ On Saturday, October 28,2023 Donald “Donnie” Quintero, 60, and his grandson, Stryder, 2, lost their lives in a tragic housefire. Stryder’s father, Brandon Quintero, was able to escape the fire.

The McCann Family wrote: “‘Stries’ was the rainbow in all of our lives. He spread so much joy and love into the lives of everyone he encountered, if he allowed it. He was honorary and quiet but once he got used to you, you fell in love with him. At the very young age of 2, he left this world with his Grandpa Donnie Quintero in a house fire (10/28/2023). A tragic accident, where Brandon Quintero (father of Stryder and son of Donnie) miraculously survived; we will forever remember their cowboy spirit. At this time, we are grateful for any kind words, prayers, and donations for our Stryder Ross Quintero and the McCann/Quintero family.”

Memorial Services are scheduled for Sunday, November 5th, 2023 at 11am at the Schurz Tribal Gym.
