Smith, NV – Lyon County officials have been authorized by the Tamarack Incident Management Team that warning to evacuate in Smith Valley can be rescinded.
Lyon County is still operating a shelter for Douglas County residents at the Smith Valley High School in cooperation with Douglas County and Red Cross. Lyon County will continue shelter operations until the evacuation orders are lifted. The shelter has been open for four days and provided services to 240 people.
