2026 Yerington Air Fair Brings Aviation, Breakfast and Family Fun to Municipal Airport

YERINGTON, NV — The skies above Mason Valley were filled with action on Saturday, September 26, as community members and aviation enthusiasts gathered at the Yerington Municipal Airport for the 2026 Yerington Air Fair.

Throughout the morning, approximately 35 aircraft flew in and out of the airport, offering spectators an up-close look at a diverse array of planes. The steady stream of aerial activity kept eyes turned toward the runway and highlighted the vibrant local aviation scene.

Attendees kicked off the morning with a hot meal courtesy of the Rotary Club of Yerington, whose members were hard at work serving up their signature pancake breakfast. In addition to the morning fare, visitors enjoyed browsing local vendor booths positioned along the entrance, including crowd favorite Sunshine and Whiskey.

For families and young aviation enthusiasts, the ground displays were a major highlight of the day. Battle Born Medevac and the Mason Valley Fire Department provided interactive static displays, allowing kids and parents to get a firsthand look at emergency response equipment, meet local first responders, and learn about the life-saving vehicles that serve the region.

The City of Yerington extends its sincere gratitude to Rotary Club, the families who participated and all the pilots who flew in to support this wonderful community event.

Special recognition goes to local pilots Mike West and Greg Chico, whose hard work in coordinating arrivals and aircraft staging ensured a smooth, safe, and successful event for everyone involved.
