RNDC makes extensive candidate forum footage available for free media use with credit CARSON CITY, Nev. — The Rural Nevada Democratic Caucus has successfully concluded its 2026 Rural Road Tour, a multi-stop candidate forum series designed to bring Democratic candidates running for Congressional District 2 directly before rural voters and ensure communities across Nevada have meaningful access to those seeking public office.

Over the course of the tour, the RNDC hosted forums across rural Nevada, providing voters the opportunity to hear directly from Democratic candidates on the issues affecting working families, rural communities, public lands, economic development, health care, infrastructure, affordability, and the future of democracy.

At this time, the RNDC has compiled what may be the most extensive available video coverage of Democratic candidates being asked substantive, difficult, and locally relevant questions across rural Nevada. The footage captures candidates responding in real time to concerns raised by voters, community leaders, and moderators in communities that are too often left out of statewide political coverage.

“Rural Nevada deserves more than fly-by politics and election-year talking points,” said Chair Doan, Chair of the Rural Nevada Democratic Caucus. “This road tour gave candidates the opportunity to show up, answer tough questions, and speak directly to the people who deserve to be heard. We are proud to have created a public record that voters, journalists, and campaigns can use to better understand where these candidates stand.”

The RNDC is advising members of the media, campaigns, civic organizations, and the public that footage from the road tour is available for use free of charge, provided that the Rural Nevada Democratic Caucus is clearly credited in any broadcast, article, social media post, digital production, or other publication using the material.

The RNDC encourages local, state, and national media outlets to use this footage to expand coverage of rural Nevada voters and the Democratic candidates seeking to represent them. “This tour was about access, accountability, and respect for rural communities,” added Chair Doan. “The media now has a valuable resource to provide voters a clear picture of where each of our candidates stands on the issues important to them.”
