Reno Rodeo Foundation reported: Meet one of our 2025 Reno Rodeo Foundation Scholarship Recipients! We proudly awarded Yessenia Zarazua the Reno Rodeo Foundation Scholarship of $10,000.
A 2025 graduate of Yerington High School with a 3.80 GPA, Yessenia will attend University of Nevada, Reno to pursue Pre-Nursing. As a first-generation college student, she has shown remarkable leadership through National Honor Society, Student Council, Rotary Interact, and Link Crew, while balancing academics, athletics, work, and over 100 hours of community service.
With hands-on experience at the Boys and Girls Club Early Learning Center and a passion for pediatric care, Yessenia is on her way to becoming a nurse who makes a meaningful difference.
