A celebration date of March 19, 2025 will mark the beginning of five years of service to the region by the local Community United Methodist Church (CUMC) at 221 North Main In Yerington through their God’s Pantry program by providing hygiene and cleaning products ranging from toilet paper to toothbrushes not available through the Food Bank or Food Stamps programs.
They have served many people throughout the past four years in a drive through the parking lot format at 220 North Center street that not only gives them their choice of four items per household but also asks for and provides prayers for those who request with the great variety of situations that concern them.
