Bi-Valley RPEN: The Mason & Smith Valley Chapter of Retired Public Employees of Nevada gathered on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 for their annual Picnic at Mountain View Park.
RPEN is statewide association in Nevada that protects the interests of retirees covered by the Public Employees’ Retirement System, (PERS).
The Bi-Valley RPEN Chapter hosts regular meetings with guest speakers, community events like holiday potlucks, and local candidate forums focusing on public employee and retirement issues. The Chapter meets on the last Tuesday of every month at 8:30 AM (no meetings are held in June or July) at the Yerington Lions Club, 7 N. West St.
