Tribute to Kim Carolyn Jones: March 16, 1957 to January 7, 2025

Kim was born on March 16th, 1957 in Reno, Nevada and was a faithful Christian who dedicated her life to serving God, family, and community. Kim was a Sunday school teacher, hair stylist and salon owner; but her most important and cherished role was being a dedicated Wife, Mother & Grandmother.

Kim, whose maiden name was Pittman, grew up in Yerington until she completed the 6th grade (with the future YHS Class of 1975). Her family lived in Weed Heights. Her brothers were Barry, Tim, and Michael Pittman; mother, Dorthey Rundle, and step-father, Twitch Rundle.

Kim leaves behind her husband, Tam Jones; children, Alicia (Jason) Hall, Garrett Jones, and Paul (Ashlie) Ringeisen; and her three grandchildren. Kim is preceded in death by her parents and siblings. She was a key part of our lives and will be deeply missed by all.

A service will be held at First Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, January 17th, at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Burwood Cemetery.

Kim is now resting in the arms of Jesus Christ, experiencing the eternal peace and love that God has promised all who believe.
