A Story of Hope: September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Linda Dunger and her husband retired in the summer of 2005 and relocated to Yerington in January of 2006.  Linda took up photography as a hobby in retirement and has traveled the United States, “photographing this beautiful country”. She is the volunteer photographer for Through a Child’s Eyes Foundation and reports that she has, “met so many wonderful people here in Yerington in 18 1/2 years. I am definitely invested in Childhood Cancer Awareness, as you can tell from my article. We have a blended family that includes 5 children, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.”
