17 year old Aiden Nelson of Yerington, Nevada was recognized by the National Society of High School Scholars for demonstrating outstanding leadership, scholarship, and community commitment.
Aiden’s parents Sandra Russell and Travis Nelson are very proud of their son and his accomplishment in earning this NSHSS Honor. Aiden is a Senior at Yerington High School, and is the oldest of 4 brothers.
Sandra Russel writes that Aiden, “loves watching football and baseball. He’s been a football player for the Yerington Lions since his Freshman year and will be playing his last season with them, looking to continue a football career in college. He doesn’t have a preferred college at this time but he wants to get into the mining industry. We are so proud of Aiden and are looking forward to seeing him graduate in 2025.”
