Stephen Shytle, Silver Springs Shooting Suspect, In Custody
On July 15, 2024 at approximately 2:00 PM the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, Investigations Division, acting on a tip, located and arrested Stephen Thomas Shytle in a remote area of Silver Springs, NV. Shytle was wanted on an outstanding warrant relating to the double shooting that occurred in Silver Springs, NV on June 26, 2024.
Shytle was booked into the Lyon County Jail on the outstanding warrant charging him with:
2 counts of Attempted Murder
1 count of Battery with a Deadly Weapon causing Substantial Bodily Harm
Shytle’s bail is set at $310,000.00.
