Marjorie Alice Boreham: April 1, 1929 – January 23, 2024 “Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother and dear friend to so many”

Marjorie Alice Boreham passed away peacefully on January 23rd, 2024 in Yerington, Nevada.

She was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother and dear friend to so many.

Marjorie was born on April 1, 1929 to George and Mildred Dixon in Yerington, NV.

Marjorie married her husband, Donald Boreham, on June 8, 1947. The young couple embarked on an adventure moving around the Northern California area where they welcomed three beautiful daughters, Julie, Cheryl and Donna. In 1953 they moved from Sacramento, CA to Weed Heights, NV. They welcomed their Son, Duane in 1964 and moved to Yerington in 1967 where they remained until their passing.

While raising their young family they enjoyed many outdoor activities; traveling, camping and boating. Marjorie also enjoyed playing violin with her friends in the Jack’s and Jenny’s musical group. Marjorie and Donald were also very involved in the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star.

Upon Donald’s retirement in 1990, Marjorie and Donald traveled and camped throughout the United States.

Marjorie is predeceased by her husband Donald in 2013.

She is survived by her Sister, Edna Notterman; Brother, Mike Dixon; her daughters Julie Jones, Cheryl Creedon, Donna MacGill and her Son Duane Boreham. She was blessed with many grandchildren: Sandra Jones, Michael Jones, Michael Creedon, Paula Creedon, Randall MacGill, Eric MacGill, Michael Boreham, Trey Boreham, Sianne Boreham and Austin Boreham. She was a proud great grandmother to Alyssa, Stephen, Bailee, Hillarie, Caitlin, Dylan, Dominic, Derek, Espen, Emmry, Makayla, Payton, Kali, Ivan, Cleo, Chase, Maddison, Conrad and Olive. She was also an adoring great-great grandmother to Harper, Lohne, Walker, Liam, Greyson, Gage, Lillian and William.

A Celebration of Life event is planned for February 3, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Community United Methodist Church at 221 N Main Street in Yerington, NV.

All are welcome to attend a luncheon which will be held immediately following the service in Spangler Hall directly behind the church.

The family of Marjorie Boreham would like to thank everyone, from the bottom of our hearts, for the cards, flowers, food for the service, prayers and all of the kind words during this tough time! We are beyond grateful!
