YHS Junior Lily Trunk Earns Top Spot at Lion’s Club Regional Contest in Reno

YHS Educator Mrs. Aldridge announced that Yerington High School junior, and Western Nevada College Jumpstart student, Lily Trunk earned the first place position at the Lion’s Club Regional Speakers Contest on March 11, at the Downtown Library in Reno.

She will be moving on to the state level competition in Las Vegas where she’ll compete for a $5000 scholarship!
