LOCAL COMMINITY SUPPORT: The Walker River Basin Communities Foundation is one of the local supporters of the new Early Childhood Education center opened recently by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley. The WRBCF provided a $50,000 grant to this worthwhile project and has been able to provide over $2.2-million in grant funding to worthwhile projects in Mason and Smith Valleys over it 35 years of existence. Grants of over $2.2 million dollars have helped fund worthwhile projects in Mason and Smith Valleys over 35 years of support from the Walker River Basin Communities Foundation. The foundation’s annual fundraiser is set for June 3, 2023 in Smith Valley.
