Rotary & PEO plan “Boots, Buckles & Bling” dinner/dance March 11 in Yerington
- Escape Old Man Winter; Time to get out and have some fun
Tired of being locked up by winter and looking for a way to get out and have some fun?
“Boots, Buckles & Bling” may be exactly what the doctor ordered.
This event is sponsored by the Yerington Rotary Club in partnership with PEO Sisterhood and includes a dinner and dance plus live and silent auctions and a raffle as a fundraiser with proceeds to go to community projects.
Live music will be provided by Left of Centre and guests will be treated to a steak dinner with all the trimmings.
The date is Saturday, March 11; and the venue is Snyder’s Onion Shed in south Mason Valley as the event returns to its country roots.
Rotarians will cook a full steak dinner and provide a bar for liquid refreshment. Several outstanding and memorable auction and raffle prizes are being offered.
A dynamite country-western band featuring Buck Ford will provide listening and dancing music for what is expected to be a large crowd looking for a good time.
Tickets are being sold right now at $45 for adults and $20 for kids. Those tickets can be purchased from any local Rotarian or PEO member or at Ace Hardware, Pure Platinum Salon, Studio 42 and Snyder Livestock. Tickets include dinner and dance and a free refreshment. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. with dinner to be served at 6:00 p.m.
