The Storey County Sheriff’s Office has released new details about a Fernley man who was found dead after the state activated a Silver Alert for him.
On April 19, 2022, Alan Corridori was located by a hiker in the eastern part of Storey County, in an area commonly referred to as the “Sand Dunes.”
According to a press release, The Sheriff’s Office says Corridori may have died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, from a firearm he purchased a year earlier.
The investigation is still ongoing along with a final autopsy report.
