Friday, October 29, 2021: High School Cross Country Regional Finals for Northern Nevada were held at Reed High School in Sparks, Nevada.
Representing Yerington High School as a 2A Team in the NIAA Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association: Senior Kutoven Stevens.
One of Kutoven’s biggest supporter, Misty Stevens, shared the photos in the article. She writes: “Supermen!! Delmar, Russell, Lupe, Tyler, TJ, Jason,and Ku…thank you for being the amazing people you are. Each of you has contributed to Ku’s success in your own way, helping him be the best he can and reach for those huge dreams of his. Love you guys!”
At today’s Finals, Reno Gazette Journal (Jim Krajewski) headlined:
Cross country Regionals: Stevens the fastest in the North; Reno defends boys team title
Ku crossed the finish line of the hilly 5 kilometer race at 16 minutes 47 seconds with the fastest time of the day.
Next week he competes representing Yerington High School at the Nevada State Finals.
