John King ~ Dedicated His Career to “Protect and Serve” ~ Rest in Peace

It is with a heavy heart that Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports the loss of Deputy John King.

Deputy King had just recently started his career with Lyon County in July of this year. His previous experience included the United States Army; Ceres Police Department; South Lake Police Department; Susanville Police Department; and Nevada Highway Patrol.

Deputy King is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son and 2 grand daughters, his extended family, friends, and patrol partners.
