“The City of Yerington will be doing our Annual ‘Trunk or Treat / Trick or Treat Town’ Halloween Event again this year!  *Please see the flyer below.

We are once again looking for businesses and the local public to sign up and do a table (inside) or a car trunk (outside)  this year.  Each table/ trunk gets decorated and manned by that group or person.  They are responsible for the decoration and the candy that gets handed out that day.  We are encouraging everyone to choose a theme and even dress up themselves.  We have a limited number of spots inside and outside, but we would like to make this a fun activity for the kids.  Our event will be on Monday, October 31st and will be from 3 to 5pm this year, just in time for the kids to go trick or treating in town.  We want to make this a great DAY of fun for the families of our community.

If you, your place of business, or if you might just know of someone who may be interested…it would be greatly appreciated if you could pass this along.

Applications to be a candy vendor can be emailed to the interested party.  They may also pick one up at City Hall or we can just take their information over the phone.

We will be sending out more information about the actual day of the event to the families of Yerington as the date gets closer.  Candy donations are also welcomed and will be accepted at City Hall.

Thanks so much for your help in making this event a continued success!”

The event is finished.
