**A Special Surprise at the Lyon County Fair!**
The Lyon County Fair had the honor of welcoming **Robin Hauck, the 2026 Western Fairs Convention Chair**, who surprised us with a visit to our fair!
It was such a pleasure giving Robin a tour of our fairgrounds, showing her our facility, and sharing everything that makes our little hometown fair so special.
**Thank you, Robin, for surprising us and taking the time to visit!** We truly enjoyed having you and hope you enjoyed experiencing our small-town fair and the community that makes it so special.
We hope to see you again soon!

What a fun year for Mutton Bustin’ at the **Lyon County Fair!**
A little Thursday night rain sure didn’t stop these tough kiddos from showing us what they’ve got! We had **27 riders compete in 3 heats**, with the **top two riders from each heat** earning the chance to come back Saturday and ride again during the Rodeo!
There was **rain, mud, smiles, and even a few tears**, but these little cowboys and cowgirls gave it their all!
A HUGE **thank you to the Mason Valley Moose Lodge for sponsoring the winner buckle!** Your support helps make these special memories even better for our kids!
And THANK YOU to **all of the kids who participated! ** We had so much fun watching these kiddos hang on tight and give it their best!
Congratulations again to our winners and all **27 Mutton Bustin’ riders!**
**We can’t wait to do it all again next year! ** Third weekend in August 2027 !!

There was **lots of action, excitement, and FUN** during the Rodeo! These kids held on tight and gave it everything they had!

These little cowboys and cowgirls sure **showed their stuff up on stage**! From their big smiles and cowboy hats to all that personality, they made it a tough job to pick our winners!
