Please enjoy these fireworks composites created for the 5th year in a row as a gift to our community by Photographer Jim Benterou of Mason Valley, Nevada: July 4th, 2026, launching from Snyder’s Fields between Goldfield Ave & Bridge Street!

Thank you, Jim Benterou, for sharing these inspiring photos! And thank you to Roni Stanton, to the sponsors and to the Mason Valley Fireworks Committee!

For Jim Benterou, photography has always been a very personal endeavor. He isn’t interested in selling prints or entering competitions. He does it out of a passion and a never-ending pursuit of excellence.

Jim’s favorite subjects are astro-photography and landscapes…When asked what his best image is Jim Benterou replied, “The one I’m going to take tomorrow.”
