Kathy dedicated her life to the world of horses and livestock. She traveled across the nation breaking, shoeing, and showing horses while imparting her knowledge to younger generations. Her passion for teaching children about the cowboy way of life was a cornerstone of her legacy. Whether at rodeo events or stock horse shows, Kathy’s love for livestock and her commitment to preserving these traditions shone brightly.

Her family was her greatest treasure. She is survived by her sons Wayne (Ellen Morgan) and Barton Morgan; two nieces; five nephews; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and many chosen family members who held a special place in her heart. Kathy was predeceased by her parents, Ramona and Joseph; her sisters, Leona Moxley and Betty Murray; her grandson Austin Morgan; and her nephew Jeff Moxley.

Kathy’s presence was a source of wisdom and warmth for those around her. Her love for the cowboy way of life extended beyond her career—it was a defining part of who she was. Her dedication to family and community will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She will be dearly missed by many, leaving behind not only cherished memories but also a wealth of knowledge that can never be replaced. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her.
