The 2025 Annual Report emphasizes that behind every statistic are dedicated Lyon County Sheriff’s Office professionals working to keep the community safe. Their efforts have contributed to reduced crime, increased arrests, and record levels of community engagement. Sheriff Brad Pope expresses pride in the professionalism of both sworn and non-sworn staff and remains confident and optimistic about the future of the Sheriff’s Office and Lyon County heading into 2026. The full report can be found on the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office website.

The application seeks a temporary change in the place and manner of use of a portion of Permit 65299 within the Walker River Hydrographic Basin, with the existing place of use in Lyon County and the proposed temporary use spanning both Lyon and Mineral Counties.
