SLMC’s plans for New Physician’s Clinic are becoming a Reality

Yerington NV – January 14, 2026

At the December 4, 2025 Lyon Co. Board of County Commissioners, South Lyon Medical Center CEO Toni Inserra delivered a powerful presentation on South Lyon Hospital District Financing New Primary Care Clinic. Commissioners unanimously approved a resolution supporting the South Lyon County Hospital District’s request to move forward with financing for a new Rural Health Clinic (RHC). The action authorizes the District to issue a medium-term interim debenture of up to $2.8 million, to be repaid from the future sale of a medium-term obligation of the same amount. This financing mechanism will help cover costs associated with developing the new primary care clinic.
