Night at the Museum, Mystery Flashlight Tour A Huge Success!

Guests were treated to a spooky good time at Lyon County Museum’s Night at the Museum, Mystery Flashlight Tour  this past weekend.  Hauntings, whispers, and unexplained paranormal activity were highlighted during this unique, one-of-a-kind tour inspired by a professional paranormal investigation of the museum by Viper paranormal in 2023.  

Upon arrival, guests received a flashlight which they used throughout the tour.  Sheriff PC Lie, played by Brian Grimere, welcomed guests, gave a brief history of the valley, and then organized guests into two tour groups: Phantom Footsteps, led by Ann Davies, event tour guide, and Whispers in the Dark, led by Heather Wharton, event tour guide. 

Throughout the tour, guests were greeted by historic figures who told tales of their past in addition to some spooky paranormal investigation findings of ghostly voices, footsteps, and items moving.

At the conclusion of the tour, guests were treated to charcuterie boxes and wine as they mingled with performers, board members, and volunteers from the Lyon County Museum and Through a Child’s Eyes Foundation who jointly created, planned, and organized this unique, one-of-a-kind event.
