Tanya Ruddell passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025 at her home in Yerington, Nevada. She was 69. The Ruddell family is saddened and broken at our loss. Tanya was our Queen, Mother and our best friend. Her husband Scott cared for her at their home and was with her until she passed.
Tanya was born in Napa, Idaho on June 3, 1956 to Skip and Eunice Coutts. The family moved a bit when Tanya was younger, as Skip was a hard rock miner. After Skip’s passing in 1970, Tanya and her mother moved to Yerington to be closer to family.
Tanya enjoyed camping, fishing, riding quads, decorating her home during holidays, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.
Tanya is survived by Scott her husband of 48 years, daughter Tessa, son Shawn (Dalia), and grandchildren Dylan and Natalie. She is preceded in passing by her father Skip, mother Eunice, brothers Tony, Kent and Monty. She was the last surviving member of that family.
The Ruddell Family would like to thank Pattie B, the best top-notch caregiver, Infinity Hospice Care team Kira and Chelsie, and the other team member who assisted Scott with caring for Tanya.
