“Wow! I’d like to take a moment to say how proud I am of these teams.
“Walker River Little League won 3 of the 4 Nevada District 3 Little League Championships for 2025 and our 4th team was pretty dang good too!
“Not only are we growing as a league, we’re developing talent that can compete at a higher level.
“Our communities of Schurz, Smith and Yerington should all be proud of these young athletes and how they represented us in Winnemucca.
“Up next is our turn to host the Nevada District 3 Softball tournament, starting this Thursday (June 26th) on Buck Aiazzi Field!
“This is a testament to the quality coaches, volunteers, players and families that support these young athletes. Hats off to all of you!”
