Yerington City Councilman Omar Rodriguez Lopez attends Nevada Latino Lobby Day at the State Legislature

Omar Rodriguez Lopez reported:

“Today I had the privilege of attending the Latino Lobby Day at the Nevada State Legislature thanks to my good friend Jafeth Evelyn Sanchez. Thank you to my prima Crystal Rodrigues for joining me! I had a great time and met some really awesome people. All very proud to be Latinos and very active in their communities.

“I got to sit in on some hearings and got to sit down with the Secretary of State Francisco V. Aguilar who is a very cool guy and full of knowledge. I look forward to connecting with all the individuals I met today.

“Una cosa que si quiero decir es que SI SE PUEDE, SI SE PUEDE, SI SE PUEDE!!!” (I want to say that, ‘Yes we can, yes we can, yes we can!!!’)
