Sheriff Pope presented Meritorious Service Medals, Life Saving Medals & Lifesaving Awards to Deputies, Dispatchers and Corrections Lieutenant during the Lyon County Board of Commissioners meeting Thursday.

Dispatchers Kyara Davis & Sarah Walker were unable to attend this presentation, but were represented by Dispatch Manager Eric Engelman.
The law enforcement officers, dispatchers, and correctional officers who face public criticism on any given day are often the very people who will put their own lives on the line to protect you, help you, and save you when you need them most.
