Heroes on Dirt Bikes

Yerington NV – July 30, 2026

On July 14th, at approximately 630pm, we received a report of a structure fire located in East Mason Valley. Two young men, riding their dirt bikes in the area, spotted a house fire and took action. One called 911, while the other knocked on the door to alert the resident. The resident was unaware of the emergency happening and safely made it outside the structure.

We are proud of the actions that Miles and Kai took!
Another nearby neighbor William C. arrived prior to our arrival and began extinguishing the fire.

We want to applaud their willingness to take action.!
