The Yerington Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Hunter’s Place as our June 2026 Business Spotlight Member.

More than just a beautiful venue, Hunter’s Place is a labor of love and a heartfelt tribute to Specialist Hunter Jack Kelly, whose memory continues to inspire all who visit. Established in 2021 by Ron and Ally Kelly, the property has been thoughtfully transformed into a stunning lavender farm, apiary, event venue, and gathering place where community and remembrance come together.

A Brief History

Hunter’s Place was established in 2021 when Ron and Ally purchased the property and began transforming it into a place of beauty, remembrance, and community. The property was named in honor of Specialist Hunter Jack Kelly, a beloved soldier who was killed in 2015. His legacy remains at the heart of everything we do, and Hunter’s Place serves as a living tribute to his memory.

Over the years, the property has evolved into a lavender farm and apiary, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of agriculture, nature, and community gatherings in a truly special setting.
