Yerington Intermediate School Celebrates Outstanding Track & Field Season

The Yerington Intermediate School Track & Field team wrapped up an incredible season filled with determination, growth, teamwork, and success. Throughout the season, YIS athletes demonstrated outstanding dedication during practices and competitions, representing their school with pride and sportsmanship every step of the way.

From early practices to long meet days, the Tigers continually pushed themselves to improve while supporting one another as teammates. Coaches and supporters praised the athletes not only for their performances on the track and in the field, but also for the positive attitudes and perseverance they showed all season long.

A special congratulations goes to the YIS 8th grade boys team for earning the TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP title — an exciting accomplishment and a memorable way to close out the season. Their hard work, commitment, and teamwork paid off in a big way and made the entire school community proud.

Yerington Intermediate School also extends sincere appreciation to the coaches, families, volunteers, and community members whose support helped make the season successful. Their encouragement and dedication played an important role in helping the athletes thrive throughout the year.
